Yes, Flower Print in Fall

Fall Fashion

That’s right, I am wearing a flower print dress in the fall and it’s completely okay. I can totally get away with wearing this print even in the fall. Why? Because it’s a more subdued flower print and it’s navy blue, which is my saving grace. And, at the time, this photo was taken when it was still beautiful and warm outside. Another trick to getting away with wearing a flower print dress in the fall is adding classic fall colours and accessories. So, I decided to wear this dress with a navy blue blazer, black tights, and brown oxford shoes (love!), belt and bag. Ooh, I need to talk about this bag that I found on the Naturalizer website! I had been lusting after a bag that looks exactly like this one on the Nordstrom website. But with all the duties and taxes, and blah, blah, blah, it would’ve came to a whopping $145!! Yeah, I don’t think so. And this Naturalizer bag was only $30, including shipping. Can you believe it?? This tote bag is also reversible, just like the Nordstrom look alike. It’s pretty much exactly the same. A tote bag is an absolute necessity for all women. I can stuff so much in this bag. My whole life is in it. It is also comfortable to wear, and would be the perfect carry-on bag for travelling too!

Red Fever

Fall Outfit

This is my newest purchase that I am absolutely in love with! I definitely have red fever. I have always wanted a shorter fall wool peacoat in a bright colour because we all know how dreary the fall can be sometimes. It helps to wear a splash of colour. I had a red wool peacoat almost like this one when I lived in England from H&M, but it didn’t last long. Think it shrunk, sadly. But I found this one at Sears online, yes Sears! It was also on sale for $50! You can’t beat that price. This red wool peacoat is incredibly warm, which is fantastic. I don’t even have to wear layers underneath because it’s so warm.

Butterfly Top

Butterfly Print Top

There are so many things that I love about this butterfly top. It has the versatility to take you from the office to casual nights out. You can even dress it up with skinny black jeans and black pumps, which is what I desperately need in my shoe collection!  Since this butterfly top is cut in a baby doll style, you need a belt to create some shape and define your waist. Waist belts are something every woman needs in her wardrobe! This look that I have created here is perfect for the office, as well as dinner out after hours.

Popsicle Print T-Shirt

Popsicle Print T-Shirt
Please note: This is not a sponsored or review post.

There’s nothing that says summer like this popsicle print T-shirt from SheIn. I loved this t-shirt so much that I decided to buy it. This T-shirt is definitely the cutest one that I own. Surprisingly, I don’t own a lot of T-shirts, which was one motivator for buying it. One thing to keep in mind if you want to purchase this shirt from SheIn is that it is one size fits all. It is slightly too big for me, but I do like the relaxed fit. You can wear this popsicle print t-shirt  with casual shorts or denim jeans with sandals or sneakers. I just can’t get enough of these Grasshoppers – did you buy a pair yet?

Polka-Dot Dress

Polka-Dot Dress

I have had this navy-blue and white polka-dot dress forever. It’s from Zellers (remember that store, my fellow Canadians?), from the Alfred Sung line. I love this dress because you can wear it with so many things and dressing down this dress is simple. So, I decided to pair this dress with silver accessories, my favourite piece being my cat pendant necklace, courtesy of Accessory Insanity, along with a red cardigan for a pop of colour. I dressed this outfit down with these Grasshoppers white sneakers from Sears, which I am in love with. I will write a separate post about these said sneakers because they definitely need to be talked about!
